Twenty Four

Yesterday afternoon I had a few errands to run before putting the three year old down for her afternoon nap. When we got home she insisted that she wasn't tired:

I took this picture as evidence that she was, indeed, tired.

Unfortunately, she proved me wrong by sneaking herself out of her room and into my bedroom and covering her leg in my face lotion.

Yes, yes, child. It's all very humorous.

So...

There ya go.

Oh, it wasn't the only sad thing that happened yesterday! Oh no, I also had to say goodbye to this old friend for the month.

I'm sorry. It's nothing personal, Krystal. It's this dang Whole 30 I've been talked into.

Which is why midnight found me staring into my blender and making my own mayonnaise. I gotta say the mayo turned out pretty great!

And how about this little beauty?

AU-Bee Honey. I found him in Huntsville.

Hmmm....in retrospect I should just be glad she used the lotion and not this business.

Coulda been a lot worse.

  1. While I'm thrilled that Clemson did beat Auburn last weekend (it was a good game and Auburn isn't looking bad in my opinion), that honey is awesome, and I would buy some. I mean, I gotta pull for Auburn the rest of the season now...it's not like I can pull against my sister school here in AL now that our head-to-head competition is over. :)

  2. Just caught up on your posts. Good luck on the 30 day challenge. I literally have a Dr. Pepper sitting right next to me as I type this. When is someone going to come up with a Dr. Pepper & Choc diet anyway?!
