A couple weeks ago my friend Kristi and I wandered over to Atlanta for a little lady time.
Lady time...I'm not loving that expression. It somehow makes it seem creepy.
And, hey, we were on an Intramural Bowling Team in college!
Yes, we were that awesome.
So, I'm not sure if you have ventured into an Ikea before but can I just say, WOW.
I mean...
The place was just crazy talk!
Man...The more I write on this blog the more I feel like I've already blogged about our trip to Ikea. Hmmm...
The size of it was overwhelming. They literally hand you a map, A MAP, when you walk in.
We did find some awesome stuff there though!
Look at these indoor swings!
The minions would totally love these!
On the way back from Atlanta we stopped in Mentone.
Alright, repeat after me:
"Mentone is the only reasonable way to get from Huntsville to Atlanta."
Good. Now I feel better.
We ate at the Wildflower Cafe in Mentone. If you haven't been you should go. It's so good! The atmosphere is great and the peanut butter pie! Yum!
There is a gentleman there that plays the guitar and come on! That's just fun.
So...
Ikea - Check.
Mentone - Check.
Peanut Butter Pie - Check but should definitely check again.
Does Kristi reap as well? :):)
ReplyDeleteOh, blast. Did I spell that wrong?
DeleteDo you have a recipe for peanut butter pie? That sounds gooooood!
ReplyDeleteA very expensive private school education should have taught you to spell.
ReplyDeletePaula, send Mario my recipe for PB pie. He will think he died and went to Italy!
ReplyDeleteMario, google Mile High Peanut Butter Pie.
ReplyDeleteI believe you are either born knowing how to spell or struggle with it all of your life. For one of my college classes, I studied the issue by taking surveys and talking to people. Spelling and misspelling do not seem to have anything to do education or intelligence.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I struggle with spelling....
