This afternoon in Target I got to thinking about that line from Jurassic Park where the theorist Ian Malcolm says:
"Life will find a way"
He says this upon finding out that the dinosaurs are breeding although it should be physically impossible.
Oh, why am I telling you this? Everyone has seen Jurassic Park and knows who Dr Ian Malcolm is, right?
At this point in the post I should probably admit to you that I wrote this entire post calling Ian Malcolm, Malcolm Gladwell.
I just now had to go back and fix it.
Not sure why Malcolm Gladwell was on my brain but I'm glad I double checked it because I don't think this:

So, we are talking about the quote "life will find a way" said by Ian Malcolm.
Anyway...
Here is what I saw that started all this tomfoolery:
I wondered why all the potted Amaryllis bulbs were only $2 until I looked closer.
It's because they are um...not so potted anymore.
As you can see they are growing out of their cardboard wrappings even though they have received no water and no sunlight.
Life will find a way, right?
