Watch Out for Bears...

A couple nights ago I dreamed that bears were chasing me.

I don't know why.

Of all the things to dream about...

Here was the set up of the dream:

I was riding a scooter through the woods...

...I mean, there's my first problem: a scooter.

It wasn't even a Vespa or anything remotely cool like that.

It was a scooter like a kid has, a scooter like the one I run over every time I back out of my garage.

"Mom runs over my scooter everyday?"

Yes. Now quiet child. I'm telling a story.

Anyway...

So, I'm riding my scooter through the woods when I see a big group of bears that stand up on their hind legs and growl at me.

They begin to chase me.

I turn around and see Billy, my husband, driving my Grandparent's old vintage Cadillac.

I jump in the car window and am saved.

There are so many moronic things about this dream...

But the part about Billy being my hero is good.

Oh, Billy...

Before we got married we went through a period where we were each driving the other a bit...

Er...

Crazy.

I went to Montana.

He played a lot of Beethoven.

There were midnight rides and phone calls.

It was all very dramatic.

I've blogged about it.

He still breaks out Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata when he is feeling squirrelly.

Did you know that when it first came out it in 1801 it was banned from being played in certain circles because of the effect it had on young women.

When I first heard that from a professor in college I mentally rolled my eyes.

But then the professor played it for the class and it was..

...simply amazing.

Seriously!

My heart got all skippy.

The word great doesn't do it justice.

And lets face it...

Moonlight Sonata is way better than the other song he plays on the piano a lot...

November Rain by Guns N Roses.

Bears and Beethoven and Guns N Roses...

It had "bear" and "scooter" but I couldn't find "vintage Cadillac" so you might want to look up "car".

    Have fun!
