Melting Icicles

We've got a problem. It's an area code 406 problem. It's an obsession with the state of Montana problem. Readers...It's getting serious. We love it so much that, darn it, if we haven't decided to go there for Christmas.

I complained yesterday that it's hard to blog now that I'm using Billy's old battle-ax of a laptop because of the lack of pictures on it. Well, it's really a lack of anything but Montana pictures on it because we have plenty of those.

I mean...in our defense it is a pretty amazing place.

Snowy roads and big skies and tall trees and what not. It even smells different there.

And West Yellowstone, which, lets face it, is pretty much the coolest town around.  And the buckwheat pancakes at the Running Bear Pancake House...mmm, mmm, mmm!

We love Montana so much that we once wrote an alternate ending to Hank Williams junior's song Cut Bank, Montana. We're happy ending kinda people.

Montana. It's a state. It's a state of mind.

My superpower? The ability to blog everyday.

  1. Was your old computer just a compendium of family "stock photos?" I thought you were taking them with your cell phone and posting them on the blog. If so why can't you import them to Billy's computer?
