The topic for tonight’s Five Minute Friday is…drum roll please….VOICE!
If you aren’t familiar with Five Minute Friday it comes from the Gypsy Mama, Lisa Jo Baker. It’s a time to write a five minute blog on a specific prompt.
Five Minute Friday
So…voice…Oh, who am I kidding. There is no way I can write about the word voice because all I can think about is the fat baby that is in his Mama’s lap beside me. For real, y’all this baby is SNORING. SNORING! He yawned a few minutes ago! It’s all just too much for me to bear. As if the fat rolls didn’t take the cuteness to an awesome new level now I have to hear him snore!
My prayer for this baby tonight is that he grows to appreciate his Mama’s voice. Yes, she meets his needs and that is good and right but she has a voice! That he will grow to appreciate that she blogs (I’m at a blogging conference so even though I don’t know this woman I know she has a blog) and I pray that he will appreciate that she has something to say outside of him. She is a mother but she has a life. She is the daughter of the King. She has something to say. She has a voice.
