Man! I was just thinking the other day how you never can seem to get any good Glogg* these days! And then, presto, I find some this morning.
Whew! Thank goodness.
Okay, so I haven't really been looking for Glogg. I have no clue what it even is but I saw it and the name made me happy to say.
Hofer's:
So, if you are like me and have been looking for some truly spectacular Glogg then you need look no further than Hofer's Bakery in Helen, Georgia.
Okay, so I haven't really been looking for Glogg. I have no clue what it even is but I saw it and the name made me happy to say.
Hofer's:
We stopped there this morning for breakfast.
I refrained from getting these.
Although, I'm not sure that the chocolate eclair muffin I got was any better for me. Actually, I am pretty sure it wasn't any better.
Nine bucks fed the four hundred..er, five...kids I had with me breakfast. Pretty good, huh?
Hofer's was amazing. They had row after row of beautiful cakes and pastries. There were windows in the back where we could see the pastry chefs working their magic.
I mean...sure, Glogg is a great reason to go to Hofer's but so is this:
Oh, pastries...
How I love thy sweet goodness.
Hey! I just googled Glogg and apparently it's a mulled wine that is served at Christmas time. Ya learn something new every day, huh.
I mean...I've never had mulled wine but when the heroine in romance novels falls in the snow and twists her ankle she always drinks it after she makes it back to safety so it must be pretty good right?!
Right...
Well, you may not can trust my opinion on the Glogg but you can trust me on the chocolate eclair muffin.
It was dang fine.
I love your stories. I needed a good laugh!!!
