Card Games! How much fun are they!?

And if you are thinking 'not very' then you need to play this one.

It's called Trick Your Neighbor and it's incredibly easy. 

It's actually not called Trick Your Neighbor but if I said what it was really called I'd get flagged for inapropriate content...

Step One:

Explain the game.



Mom explained the rules to us. 

Questions were asked. 

Rules were firmly set down. 

Step Two: 

Pass out the betting chips.


In our case it was mini candy bars.

Step Three:

Let the magic begin.


The game can be funny.



The game can be stressful.




The game can be sad.


After all, there can only be one winner.


And that's a lot of candy to take home.

In the end, though, secrets were shared:


Decision making was learned:


Happy times were had:



And yes, that kid is weird.

  1. I'm a poker fan myself Paula though it's not a game for all the family. My children are still at the 'snap' age though they make up their own rules as we go along and I never get to win. If I was to play for a plate of candy like that, however, chaos would ensue!
