Double Rainbows...

Last week we had a pretty fantastic rainbow sighting in Huntsville.

Wait! Wait! Rabbit Trail!! Every time I hear someone say my hometown's name I visualize an eighties rocker standing up in front of a crowd and saying "Hello, Huntsville!" And then the crowd going wild. When you think about it, it's pretty ridiculous that the crowd ever goes wild at that. What's so impressive about knowing the name of the town you are in? As usual, I digress.

So...

Cool, huh?

But wait there's more!

Soon the one rainbow turned into two rainbows.

It was pretty dang spectacular.

And just pretty dang pretty.

I was just glad to see some rain.

This kid got an umbrella from her Grandmom and she has been all about it lately.

It's like a weapon in her grubby little hands though!

We've all been inadvertently and um...verdently poked with it several times.

Remember when you first found out that there was no end of the rainbow? That it was actually a circle.

It wasn't my finest hour.

"Did someone just say there is no end to a rainbow?"

I had pictured this glorious day when I finally found it and would be able to stand and bask in its glow. Did I picture gold and granted wishes? Maybe.

But then I learned the truth.

Dang science. How annoying it can be.

Rainbows however....Not annoying at all.

  4. Umbrella's are indeed dangerous in the hands of minors Paula. But no end to a rainbow? Come on... next you'll be saying there's no such thing as Santa Claus!
