That Time He Was Famous...

When I was pregnant with the first minion we took a little trip to NYC at Christmastime. 

Billy has always been a big fan of the David Letterman show so we wanted to make sure we got tickets.

As we waited in line interns came around and chatted it up with us. 

The chatting led to Billy being asked to participate in one of the games that Letterman plays after the monologue.

Before he was chosen the intern coached him on what would happen. He told us:

"Mr Letterman gets paid a lot of money every year to be funny so let him be the funny guy. 

You just answer the questions."

Billy turned out to be funny anyway but that's just Billy being Billy.

Billy did a great job and was very comfortable in front of the camera.

Afterwards we partook of our reward which was dinner at the Redeye Grill. 

It was so much fun.

At the restaurant the host said "Oh, you're Mr Letterman's guests. Right this way!"

We got free champagne and a ridiculous amount of food.

It was all very swank.

Well, swank for this girl from Alabama anyway.
