The Pepper Says "Don't Eat Here"

Oh, El Palacio...

How I love your refried beans.

El Palacio is a local restaurant here in Huntsville.

There's a mural in front of the buffet that is a little strange, though.

It's of a very concerned pepper.

Is it just me or does the pepper seem to be saying:

"No coma nuestro alimento"

Ya know: "Don't eat our food!"

Hey!

Speaking of things you shouldn't eat...

Just found out this week that the youngest is allergic to pecans.

It started out like this:

And then turned into this:

Weird, huh?

She puffed up like a...

Well, like something really puffy.

Maybe she needs a tee shirt with a concerned Pepper on it that says:

"No me alimente nueces"

or

"Do not feed me pecans"

So, I guess nueces means pecans.

Isn't there a river called The Nueces?

Crazy talk!

There is - I just googled it.

It's in Texas.

Alright, fess up:

When you say the word Texas in your head do you pronounce it:

Te haas.

Cuz' I do.

Texas - it rhymes with Nueces.

Kind of.

"Don't feed her pecans!"

Yeah, yeah.

I got it, Pepper.
