I hate the winter but...
It's officially time for sandal season to be over.
There are a couple reasons for this:
Number one: I'm starting to get a little out of control with my toenail polish colors.
Turquoise.
Let's just make a general rule that if spell check has to help me out with how to spell the color I don't need it on my feet.
It's perplexing.
I stare at the colors and I start to grab pink or red but something makes me pick up the purple or the green or the sparkly orange.
The other reason it is time for sandal season to be over though is this:
It's my gnarly feet.
I'd show you a picture but it's really just too blech for pictures.
Remember that scene in the Ewok movie where the Ewoks use their little axes to chop the monsters foot off?

Of course you remember it!
That part was gross and scary.
Anyway...that's what my feet look like now.
The heels are cracked and bleeding.
Honestly I'm surprised I haven't gotten MRSA yet.
I've always had crazy feet but this is really just beyond the pale.
And no, I have no idea what "beyond the pale" means.
So...
I'm excited about Fall.
And it has nothing to do with the Tate Farms or Football or Pumpkin Pie or candy apples.
Nope.
It's all about my achin' feet.
Because readers, my dogs...they are a barkin'.
