Saturday night I went to see Harry Potter. I loved it. That's not what this blog is about though.
So...
While I was in line I saw this teenage goth couple:
I thought I was being sneaky when I took their picture but when I got home I realized they were actually looking right at me.
Dang. Sorry, kids.
Anyway, they looked ultra cool.
I'm not sure why I associate black clothes and guy liner with being cool but, there ya go.
So, they were all goth and everything and I assumed they would go see something, you know, cool.
But...
I was standing behind them in the ticket line and they actually got tickets to see...The new Winnie the Pooh movie. Um...that's kind of adorable. They may be my new favorite couple.
I guess the old 'appearances can be deceiving' adage strikes again.
Speaking of appearances...
What's up with this:
Speaking of appearances...
What's up with this:
Are we marketing tomatoes as 'ugly' now?
I must be missing something.
How rude!
Those tomatoes go through a lot to get on that grocery shelf.
Something else you probably need to give a break:
Our friend Britney.
This is what happens when you take the mother of a two year old to the movies.
See that ponytail laying on the seat rest? It's laying there because the pony tail's owner is asleep.
I used to fall asleep in the symphony.
My friend Will used to take me in high school.
That's him in the blue. It was so much fun. We'd get all glammed up and hit the town.
Plus his parents had terrific seats.
However...That music would start and I'd start to get sleepy. It was completely dark in the theatre and cold. I would start daydreaming about how great it would be to have the seats replaced with beds...My head would drop over on his shoulder...I'd think about how nice it would feel to drift off to sleep with the symphony playing.
And then...
The percussion would start and I'd jerk up in my seat and feel like a moron.
Kinda like I felt when I realized that goth couple totally saw me taking their picture.
What have we learned today?
Don't take me to the symphony.
