Well, sure. Turtles look all cute and cuddly...

But let me tell you...

They will cut a girl!

Or a boy.

See at Harmony Park Safari they have an enclosure with tortoises.

Turtles, Tortoises...whatever.

You could buy a big cup of lettuce for a dollar to feed the tortoises.

Totally worth it.

When we walked into the enclosure the turtles began stalking us.

I mean...it was kinda scary!

Sure they look cute but some of them were big.

Well, obviously those aren't the big ones but some of them were.

The boys loved feeling the turtles. 

According to them their backs felt 'sandy.'

The turtles were totally not in the mood to share with each other. 

In fact, they would use their long necks as weapons and hit each other to keep each other away.

I wanted to tell them there was plenty for all but they were having none of it. 

They wanted that lettuce. 

They were like addicts.

The big ones stealing from the little ones. 

Climbing on top of each other to get closer to the lettuce. 

It was chaos I tell you!

Cats and Dogs living together.

Sorry, about that last part.

When he opened his mouth it was crazy talk on the inside.

All puffy and weird - kind of like a cotton mouth.

Brother could move too!

He was fast for a turtleois.

Turtleois.

That's what I'm going with. 

That way I don't have to google turtle versus tortoise.

So...

Watch out.
