I presently struggle with...

I can't finish things.

Seriously can not.

Oops!

I mean I currently struggle with being able to finish things. 

In high school I had a coach that refused to let us say the word "can't."

It was a huge pet peeve of hers - worthy of lap running if we were caught using the word. 

Instead we had to say things like "I'm learning to..." or "I'm working on..."

"I'm not going to be smiling if you say the word can't"

"We presently struggle with..."

So...I'm still learning to finish projects. 

Its a problem.

Its been a problem for...forever.

When I opened it up I found this:

Its a birthday present I made for my oldest brother nine years ago.

Nine years ago!

Its almost completely done except for the last few pages. 

Apparently, I never got around to finishing it. 

"Sheesh, Mom. Finish a project all ready."

So before I get to down on myself let me share some things I've finished:

Um...

Highschool.

Uh....

Some really long papers in college.

Er...

College.

Um...

a 5K.

And...

Two Bible read throughs.

Um...

Lots and Lots and Lots of books. 

Alright, alright.
