I'm actually glad Christmas is over this year.
Well, I'm actually always glad Christmas is over.
The excessive amounts of gifts and spoiling that my minions receive and the loss of our schedule turns them into complete...well, here is a sample of what it turns them into:
There they are at a doctors appointment with my Mom.
That's them wrestling on the floor in the waiting room.
You know that moment when you look around and see others people's kids behaving SO much worse than yours?
I was happy to provide you with that moment that day.
So their general brattiness makes me happy to get back to our routines.
But there is another reason that I am glad Christmas is over.
Its these guys.
Minion one hates them.
They scare him.
This is the kid that has begged and pleaded with me to let him watch Lord of the Rings.
A plea I have firmly ignored.
If he can't handle this:
How could he be expected to handle orcs and their mayhem.
I warned you my minions are weird.

Love the term "minion." I think I am scared of your carolers too! They all kind of resemble the mask from Scream. Cute, but I think I am on his team!
ReplyDeleteMy Mom used to have a bust of Betthoven's head on her piano - talk about scary! I used to turn it around all the time.
ReplyDeleteMy Grandmom loves to tell the story of the time I threw a book into the fire because it was 'too scary' - I don't remember the title but it was about witches and they always freaked me out.
